The former England international striker added: “This fella, you don’t really know what you are going to get.

"He has got a trick, he has got pace, he could score with both feet, I think he has developed into one of the best players in the Premier League this season.”

Son is one of the most important players in the current Tottenham team, and the 26-year-old’s rise over the past two or three seasons has been astounding.
