Dutch star congratulates Liverpool star.

The plaudits keep coming in for Liverpool’s sixth Champions League triumph.
Virgil Van Dijk had a tremendous individual season and his performance in the final against Tottenham gave Harry Kane no chance.
Van Dijk’s Dutch international teammate Matthijs De Ligt reached out to congratulate him on social media.
De Ligt posted a simple message writing, ‘big man’ with an emoji for applause, in reply to Van Dijk’s Instagram post.
De Ligt came so close to going up against Van Dijk in the final, with Spurs beating Ajax in the semi-finals with an 89th minute goal.
The Ajax star is one of Europe’s most sought after players after his performances this season.
His transfer fee could even top the money Liverpool paid for Van Dijk.
Holland are lucky to have the pair in defence at international level. Liverpool should consider paying up to unite them at club level too.
