Liverpool were led to victory in the Champions League final by Jurgen Klopp at the weekend.
Liverpool fans appear to have largely forgiven Fernando Torres after he celebrated their Champions League final victory on Twitter.
Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in Madrid to lift the Champions League trophy for the sixth time.
Torres seemed genuinely delighted with Liverpool’s success, Reds fans were delighted with the striker's message about them.
Torres left Liverpool to join Chelsea back in 2011, and he was heavily criticised at Anfield for taking the move.
But it seems that the anger towards Torres has died down at Liverpool, and the responses from Liverpool fans to Torres's tweet were largely positive.

Liverpool picked up the Champions League trophy despite not being at their best on Saturday evening.
An early goal from Mo Salah gave Liverpool a lead to defend, and then Divock Origi’s late strike wrapped up the trophy for Klopp’s men.
