Daniele De Rossi is leaving AS Roma, and Ian Wright wants him at Arsenal.

Ian Wright has suggested on Twitter that Arsenal should sign Daniele De Rossi in the summer transfer window.

The Arsenal legend believes that Roma icon De Rossi will be a very good signing for the North London outfit this summer.

The 35-year-old defensive midfielder has been on the books of Roma his entire professional club football career so far, but the former Italy international is leaving the Serie A outfit this summer and is a free agent.

Good signing for Arsenal?

De Rossi has been one of the best and most combative midfielders in the world, and will go down in history as a Serie A legend.

The Italian is past his prime, but he still has a year or two left in him at the highest level.

It will make sense for Arsenal to bring the 35-year-old to the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer this summer and add more bite to their midfield.

De Rossi’s class and experience will come in handy for the Gunners in big games against the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
