Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend is reportedly on the radar of Leicester City.

According to The Mirror, Leicester City are interested in signing Andros Townsend from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers wants to bring the former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United winger to the King Power Stadium this summer.

The report has claimed that Townsend, who has scored three goals in 13 England appearances, is valued at £14 million.

Good move for Andros Townsend?

Townsend has done well during his time at Palace so far and has recovered some of the form he showed he first burst onto the scene with Tottenham.

The 27-year-old winger – who earns £55,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – is ready to take next step in his career, and a move to Leicester in the summer transfer window will be beneficial.

Leicester are a very ambitious club, and under former Liverpool and Celtic manager Rodgers, the Foxes has grand plans.

According to WhoScored, Townsend made 34 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Palace this season, scoring six goals and providing four assists in the process.
