Aston Villa fans on Twitter think they could be signing Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland amid rumours that they want to sell Lovre Kalinic.
According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (2/6; page 59), January signing Kalinic is free to leave the club this summer on loan or a permanent basis, as Dean Smith chases a new shot-stopper for their Premier League campaign.
If he were to depart then that would leave Jed Steer, who only started playing regularly for the team in February, and the currently injured Orjan Nyland as their goalkeeping options.
But Nyland, who was a summer signing, could seemingly miss the start of the new season as a result of his long-term injury, so if Villa allow Kalinic to leave then more than likely they'll need another goalkeeping option.
As a result, the Villa Park faithful believe Butland may be the man who they could sign this summer, as the Stoke City player is valued at £30 million, according to the Daily Star.
England international Butland was relegated to the Championship with Stoke City last season, but he stayed on with the club, who ended up finishing the campaign in the bottom half.
Here is a selection of Aston Villa fans on Twitter reacting to reports that they want a new goalkeeper:

Despite playing in the second tier of English football, Butland has remained part of Gareth Southgate's set-up for England and he will no doubt feel in order to continue that he'll need to play at a higher level.
Whether he plays for Aston Villa or any other team in the Premier League, given his talents there will no doubt be a number of clubs interested in Butland's services if he were to move on this summer.
