Tottenham Hotspur are due to take on Liverpool in the Champions League final this evening.
Tottenham Hotspur fans generally appear to be backing Mauricio Pochettino’s reported decision to hand Harry Winks a start in the Champions League final.
The 23-year-old has been out since April, but has won his race against fitness to return to Tottenham training.
Pochettino has now reportedly been impressed enough by the England intentional to feel he is ready to start.
And the Argentine boss intends to give Winks a chance in midfield later this evening.
Of course he will, been the player we have missed the most last few games non spurs won't know that cos they only go off the so called big names and media bs but he's massive for us check out his champs stats against Barca etc....— Jamie (@Lucky20seven) May 31, 2019

He is key for us. Our conductor and allows CE DA more licence to get forward. Just hope he is fully fit & sharp.— Anthony Heard (@AnthonyH7) May 31, 2019
Wow!!! Wow!!! and trice Wow!!!— David Lynch (@davidlynch333) May 30, 2019
Winks has to start for us to absorb the high pressure pressing liverpool will apply. No choice really. Eriksen and Alli don't have the discipline to play at the bottom of the diamond and sissoko doesn't have the technical ability. Kane should start because we can't die wondering— 2ndeleven (@2ndeleven) May 31, 2019
Spurs fans are generally behind the decision, as they feel that they have missed Winks’ calming influence on the side.
Winks looks almost certain to partner Moussa Sissoko in midfield this evening, if he is given the nod.
Pochettino still has to decide whether he will be playing Harry Kane in the final or not too, as the Spurs striker is back fit and available.
