Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com.

It has been reported that Tottenham are interested in signing Lo Celso from Spanish club Betis in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Spurs have made an offer of €70 million (£62.03m) for the 23-year-old central midfielder.

 

Second bid for Giovani Lo Celso?

Tottenham’s reported offer of €70m (£62.03m) Lo Celso is probably the North London club’s second bid for the youngster.

Earlier this week, BBC Sport claimed that Tottenham had made a bid of £53 million for the Argentina international.

It was reported that the youngster has a release clause of £88m in his contract at Betis.

According to WhoScored, Lo Celso made 27 starts and five substitute appearances in La Liga for Betis this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in the process.

The central midfielder also scored five goals and provided one assist in seven Europa League matches for the Spanish club, according to WhoScored.
