Nottingham Forest had Lee Tomlin on loan for six months at the start of 2018.

Nottingham Forest's Lee Tomlin

Nottingham Forest fans have suggested that they would take Lee Tomlin back.

Tomlin posted up some video highlights of his time at Forest on loan on Twitter yesterday.

The Cardiff City forward spent just half a season with the Reds last year, but made a big impact at the City Ground.

And Forest fans are now suggesting that he should come back this summer for good.

Tomlin has struggled badly for game time of late, and even moved out on loan to Peterborough United towards the back end of last season.

Tomlin wanted to go back to Posh to start enjoying his football again, but he didn’t look fully match sharp throughout his loan spell at London Road.

If Tomlin was to return to Forest he would offer them creativity going forward, if they could get him back to his best.

Martin O’Neill’s side are thought to be looking for attacking additions this summer, but whether the 30-year-old is on their radar remains to be seen.
