Leeds United supporters have been watching Erling Haaland’s career develop overseas.

Leeds United fans have suggested that Erling Haaland should come and sign for them, after he scored nine goals in the same match in the Under-20 World Cup yesterday.

Leeds have had long running links with Haaland, due to his father, Alf-Inge, playing at Elland Road during his time as a player.

Erling Haaland once stated that he dreamt of winning the Premier League with Leeds.

And Whites fans have been so impressed with Haaland’s contribution for his country that they want to see him come to Leeds this summer.

Any chance the Whites had of signing the Leeds-born now look to be very slim.

The youngster moved to Red Bull Salzburg in January, and seems to have a very bright career ahead of him.

Leeds are unlikely to have the sort of funds required to snap up the striker, who is really making a name for himself now.

Haaland’s nine goals came for Norway in their 12-0 thrashing of Honduras yesterday.
