Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa agreed to continue with the club this week, to the delight of supporters.
Bielsa has made a big impact at Elland Road, taking Leeds from also rans to the brink of promotion.
This past season Leeds finished third, after finishing 13th the previous season, and Bielsa wants to continue what he started.
Bielsa’s decision to renew has prompted some adulation from the media, delighted he will be back.
Not everybody was impressed with the fawning over the Argentine.
Journalist Mick Dennis, formerly of The Sun and The Express among others, called out The Times’ Henry Winter for his supposed over the top praise of Bielsa.
Leeds fans are particularly defensive when it comes to criticism of Bielsa, and were quick to suggest Dennis simply has not been paying enough attention to the turnaround at Elland Road.
