James Milner has been exceptional for Liverpool again this season.

Jurgen Klopp has told Via Sport that it’s ‘unbelievable’ how talented Liverpool’s James Milner is.

Milner is having another outstanding season with Liverpool and, at 33, shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.

The England international started the 4-0 Champions League win over Barcelona earlier this month and will hope to play the final against Tottenham in Madrid on Saturday.

The Reds boss did a segment for Via Sport, in which he identified his current players only by their childhood photos.

And here’s what Klopp said about Milner, signed by former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers for free in 2015.

He told Via Sport, looking at a photo of Milner as a child: “Same haircut as today, I like that. That’s consistency. Mr Consistent, James Milner.

“Sports wise, he’s so talented it’s unbelievable. He plays golf close to a professional. He can be quite intense because he’s demanding.”

Milner played 82 minutes of last season’s Champions League final as Klopp’s side went down 3-1 to Real Madrid.

But the Anfield side will be favourites to make amends for that night ahead of facing a Tottenham side who finished 26 points behind them in the Premier League.
