It has been reported that Rangers and Olympiakos are interested in signing the former Liverpool defender from Turkish giants Fenerbahce this summer.
The report has claimed that Fenerbahce have offered the 34-year-old central defender a one-year contract extraction and €1.5 million (£1.32m) as salary.
Skrtel, though, according to the report, wants a two-year contract extension and €2m-a-year (£1.77m-a-year) as salary.

Good signing for Rangers?
Rangers do need a central defender in the summer transfer window, and one can understand why the Scottish Premiership club are reportedly looking at Skrtel.
After all, Rangers manager Gerrard knows the Slovakian defender from their time together at Liverpool.
However, Skrtel is in his mid-30s now, and while his experience will be invaluable, Rangers should go for younger players who can be there at Ibrox in the long run.
