Everton striker Cenk Tosun has told Asist Analiz that he wants to stay at the club beyond the summer transfer window.

Tosun has been on the books of Everton since January 2018 when he joined from Turkish giants Besiktas for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £27 million.

Turkish-Football recently reported that the Toffees will try to move on the striker this summer.

Tosun told Asist Analiz: “I had a good start in my career at England, but I want to do more. I still have a three-year contract with Everton and I’m happy there.”

Stats

According to WhoScored, Tosun made 12 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Merseyside outfit during the second half of last season, scoring five goals in the process.

The Turkey intentional striker made 10 starts and 15 substitute appearances in the league for Everton this campaign, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Tosun is a good player but the 27-year-old has not been a major success at Everton, and it is unlikely that he will be able to establish himself as the first-choice striker under manager Marco Silva next season.
