Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will face Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final next weekend.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has given his take on Tottenham Hotspur, as quoted in The Daily Mail.

The Reds will take on Premier League rivals Tottenham in the final of the Champions League at Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid next weekend.

Ahead of the match, England international midfielder Henderson – who earns £140,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has spoken highly of Spurs.

Henderson told The Daily Mail: “Tottenham haven’t made signings but that can help a team. You get a unity and togetherness they have in abundance.

“I wasn’t surprised they beat Manchester City (in the quarter-finals) and have reached the final.”

Tricky game to call

Liverpool will head into the Champions League final against Tottenham as favourites.

The Reds have the better team, and the Merseyside outfit also have a much more illustrious history in Europe.

Moreover, Jurgen Klopp’s side reached the final of the Champions League last season, and they will believe that that will give the an edge over Spurs.

However, Tottenham have shown what they are capable of in previous rounds against Manchester City and Ajax.

The way Mauricio Pochettino’s side won against City and Ajax underlines the team spirit that the North London outfit have, and that could be massive in the final in Madrid next weekend.
