John Hartson has lauded the performance of Odsonne Eduoard after he helped Celtic beat Hearts 2-1 in the Scottish Cup final on Saturday afternoon at Hampden Park.
The BBC Sport pundit questioned whether the 21-year-old does 'enough' during games, but he did state that he does score goals in 'big games' for the club.
Well, the versatile attacker proved that on Saturday at Hampden because when his team were 1-0 down, needing goals to claw this game back, he stepped up with a brace.
Speaking to BBC Scotland on Sporscene (25/05/2019 at 5:15 pm), former Parkhead favourite Hartson admitted that he did question Eduoard, who does perform when it matters.
"They find a way to bounce back with the penalty," Hartson told BBC Sport Scotland. "And Edouard, we spoke about him before the game, does he do it enough? but what he does do is he scores in big games.
"They don't come much bigger than this. To secure the treble treble. It's a wonderful finish and a greatly timed run."
Another trophy is in the bag for Celtic and with it, these set of players have written their names into the history books because many of them are treble treble winners.
There is no doubt that the celebrations will be long and enjoyable by everyone associated with Celtic, but before too long attention will turn to next season.
Given the pressures of the club, the task will be to deliver trophies again, mainly the Scottish Premiership and nine title wins in a row.
