Lazio are reportedly interested in Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck along with Everton and Newcastle United.

According to The Sun, Everton and Newcastle United are facing competition from Lazio for Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck.

The British tabloid has reported of interest in the former Manchester United striker from Everton, Newcastle and West Ham United.

The report has claimed of Italian club Lazio have also shown interest in the 28-year-old, who will become a free agent this summer after leaving Arsenal.

Good signing for any club?

Welbeck has had injury issues during his spell at Arsenal, and he has not been able to make a huge impact at the Emirates Stadium over the years.

However, the England international is very talented, and given his experience in the Premier League, the Champions League and the Europa League, the 28-year-old will be a good signing for any club.

Everton and Newcastle could do with a proven goalscorer, and while Welbeck has yet to demonstrate that he can be that, if he gets a run of games and does not get inured, then he could score a decent number of goals.
