Celtic have been linked with a move for Adam Maher.
According to Dutch publication De Telegraaf, Celtic and QPR are among the teams battling for the 25-year-old midfielder, who is out of contract with AZ Alkmaar next month.
The Hoops appointed Neil Lennon on a permanent basis on Saturday, and chief executive Peter Lawwell hinted [BBC Sport Scotland] that the Northern Irishman would lead his own recruitment this summer.
Here's how fans of the Parkhead club reacted to potentially signing the Morocco-born ace:
Very good dribbling and passing, just not the greatest in terms of physicality— morgan (@mxrgvn_) May 25, 2019
That would be a great signing— Warren C (@Wcurtin94) May 25, 2019

Possible Rogic replacement?— Barry Nixon (@barrynixon1980) May 25, 2019
Despite being born in Morocco, Maher is a five-time Netherlands international, which sort of adds an element of intrigue about the prospect of Celtic signing him.
Okay the Dutch national side hasn't prospered in recent years, but they still have an abundance of quality players and the AZ midfielder can't be half bad if he is playing for them.
Maher, who spent five years on PSV Eindhoven's books until 2018, made his international debut under Louis van Gaal in 2012, though did not make the squad two years later for the World Cup in Brazil.
