Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in David Brooks of Bournemouth.

According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing David Brooks from Premier League rivals Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Tottenham are hoping to secure the services of the 21-year-old Wales international for £40 million.

The midfielder joined joined Bournemouth from Sheffield United in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Sun to be worth £15m.

Interestingly, Spurs were linked with Brooks before he made the switch from the Blades to the Cherries.

Back in February 2018, The Sun claimed that Tottenham were negotiating with United over a £10 million deal for the young midfielder.

Callum Wilson interest

The Sun has also reported that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino plans to make a £40m bid for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

The British tabloid, though, has claimed that Spurs will face competition from Everton for the 27-year-old striker.


According to WhoScored, Brooks made 29 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Bournemouth this season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in the process.

Wilson made 29 starts and one substitute appearance in the league for the Cherries this campaign, scoring 14 goals and providing nine assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
