Neil Lennon’s Celtic will face Hearts today.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist kicks a ball during the Scottish League Cup Quarter final between Rangers and St Johnstoneat Ibrox Stadium on October 28, 2014 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Ally McCoist backed Celtic on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on Friday morning (8:28am, May 24, 2019) to win against Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish Cup final.

The former Rangers striker and manager said that he will be stunned if Celtic do not win against Scottish Premiership rivals Hearts at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon.

McCoist said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on Friday morning (8:28am, May 24, 2019): “I would be absolutely staggered if it was anything other than a Celtic victory.”

Win for Celtic?

Hearts are a good team, but Celtic are much better and have the best squad in Scotland, and Neil Lennon’s side will head into the final as firm favourites.

True, anything can happen in a final, but it is hard to see the Hoops slip up in such a crucial game.

A win against Hearts will see the Hoops win the domestic treble for the third season in a row.

Celtic have already won the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League Cup this season.

However, the Glasgow giants cannot be complacent, and if Hearts score the first goal in the opening minutes of the game, then it will be tricky for the Hoops.
