Leeds are said to be working on transfer plans for next season, even though Bielsa hasn’t officially announced that he is staying on yet.
However, the initial targets that Leeds have in mind have not particularly impressed the Elland Road crowd.
Hefti and Frey have zero experience of playing in the Championship, while Harrison was nothing more than solid during his spell at Leeds last season.
And Whites fans seem to be a little concerned about the transfer report coming out.
Report: Leeds United line-up three potential new signings https://t.co/UDR0WyzkOH via @HITCsport Sorry but Jack Harrison is not the answer. Keeping him is just standing still when we need to kick on #lufc— Richardofyorks (@richardofyorks) May 24, 2019
"Interested in re-signing Jack Harrison"... How can this be when on the other hand they talk about using the Premier League loan market better? We need a little bit of extra quality in the final 3rd to take us to the next level. Spend some money and spend it wisely @andrearadri— TLH94 (@THuff1994) May 24, 2019
Doing it on the cheap again , not rocket Science— James Park (@jamesjimboparks) May 24, 2019
There's no point in Bielsa staying if he's not backed in a proper way...— Vivek (@Vivek28893815) May 24, 2019
The end result could b a terrible season with fans calling for his exit....
If Leeds are interested in re-signing Harrison, they can kiss goodbye to a promotion challenge. He might make a decent league one player but the fact that he played 30+ times last season is one of the reasons we didn't get promoted. We'd have done as well playing with 10 men— WJ (@wjohn228) May 24, 2019
If we’re looking to bring average players like Harrison back we don’t want promotion. Just sell up Radrizzani. Please— Ray (@leedsinyork) May 24, 2019
Michael Frey scored less goals than doukara and ekuban in Turkish league so no thanks to him. Silvan hefti might be worth a look— Dan Fawcett (@fawcett_dan) May 24, 2019
Leeds only narrowly missed out on promotion this season and there is a feeling around Elland Road that one or two quality additions is all that they need this summer to push them over the line.
However, it is not entirely clear what Leeds’ budget is going to be like for the upcoming transfer window, with Bielsa’s plans yet to become clear.
