Fans of BBC One series Killing Eve have been patiently waiting for news on the second season.
While the second instalment of the British spy-thriller has been firing through episodes in the USA, fans in the UK have been left with nothing more to do than twiddle their thumbs and wait.
Well, the wait is officially over!
What is Killing Eve about?
Last year, Killing Eve became one of the UK's most talked-about shows - it holds 96% on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.2/10 on IMDB!
A high-impact drama with thrilling plot-lines and more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, the BBC series went down a treat in the UK as it aired over September, 2018.
The series follows the events of Eve Polastri as she progresses from a bored MI5 office worker to heading a secret investigation team.
What can we expect from series 2?
Season 2 is just coming to a close in America, meaning there are lot of spoilers about.
No spoilers here, however, so read on!
The series continues directly from the last episode in series 1, following Eve as she searches for the wounded Villanelle.
A new assassin known as 'The Ghost' enters the investigation while the twists and turns drag Eve from London to Paris.
Is it as good as season 1?
Based on the reviews by those guys 'n' girls across the pond, Killing Eve season 2 should live up to the first series.
It has raked in similar volumes of TV hits and currently scores 8.23/10 on Rotten Tomatoes.
Killing Eve season 2: Confirmed UK air date
The second season will launch on BBC One on Saturday, 8th June, with a double episode.
Episode 1 (How To Dispose Of A Body?) and episode 2 (Nice and Neat) will air back to back in the evening.
You can catch up with season 1 via the BBC iPlayer while all episodes from the second series will be uploaded shortly after going to air on BBC One.
