Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri is reportedly up for sale this summer.
Liverpool fans feel that Xherdan Shaqiri shouldn’t be sold this summer, as they believe he still has something to offer at Anfield.
Shaqiri only joined Liverpool last summer in a £12 million move from Stoke City (the Times), but his time on Merseyside could be short lived.
Shaqiri has failed to break into Liverpool’s starting line-up with any consistency this term, and has been reduced to playing a back-up role.
But Reds supporters are urging Jurgen Klopp to reconsider, as they believe Shaqiri remains a good option for them.

Bit mad we’d have to see Shaqiri to fund another deal, no?— Lee (@mightyreds88) May 23, 2019
Club is in the best position its been in a long time. Shouldn’t still be relying on sales to fund new deals, especially given we’ve now been in 2 CL finals on the bounce. https://t.co/hE8CGn82ry
No sense at all klopp never sell a player from one season especially a player had something to give shaqiri still had things to do and wasn’t that bad after all the guy scored some numbers of goals and assist wasn’t so bad if we need to sell maybe lallana due to his injuries— Omar (@OO86) May 23, 2019
Lallana should be the first head on the chopping board this summer not shaqiri who done more than enough despite limited playing time— Eoin Byrne (@becibradley) May 23, 2019
When rumors are club is looking to sell Shaqiri while Lallana is still a part of the squad pic.twitter.com/zmVMll8kVw— (@its_me_axad) May 22, 2019
That would be no sense at all if it happen no way— Omar (@OO86) May 22, 2019
Shaqiri has made 30 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions this season, scoring on six occasions.
The Switzerland international has shown flashes of quality, but his failure to make big impact on games where he has started mean that he has only been used in a rotational role.
If Shaqiri was to leave Liverpool this summer, Klopp would most likely look to bring in another forward to replace him.
