Liverpool and Everton are both keen to bring Bertrand Traore to Merseyside this summer, after being impressed by his form.

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool have joined Everton in the race to sign Bertrand Traore.

Everton have been heavily linked with Traore already this summer, with Lyon said to value the rapid attacker at £40 million by the Daily Mail.

Everton’s task of bringing Traore to Goodison Park has just become much more difficult now though, as they face competition from Liverpool for his signature.

The Reds can offer Traore Champions League football, which may put them in an advantageous position over Everton in the battle to sign the in-demand winger.

Traore scored 13 goals for Lyon over the past campaign, with his speed causing defences plenty of problems.

If Traore was brought to Everton he would be in competition with the likes of Richarlison and Bernard for a first-team spot, and breaking into Liverpool’s team would be similarly difficult.

Jurgen Klopp already has Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to pick from, but he wants to add even more quality to Liverpool’s attack this summer.
