Young Tottenham midfielder has signed a contract extension.

Tottenham Hotspur have retained the services of talented youngster Elliott Thorpe.

Thorpe has signed a contract extension, and posted an image of himself putting pen to paper via his Twitter account.

Thorpe, 18, is a Wales under-19 international and made his Spurs under-18 debut in January 2018.

He has continued to be part of Tottenham’s under-18 side this season, and played for the under-23s in the club’s Checkatrade Trophy campaign.

He is a central midfielder, competing with the likes of Tashan Oakley-Boothe and hoping to follow Oliver Skipp’s ascent to the first team.

Next up is trying to crack the under-23s, and Tottenham are evidently willing to give him a chance to do so.

With Spurs in the Champions League final, he is in the ideal place to take inspiration from the club’s current heroes.
