Bournemouth are reportedly keen on Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.
Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser appears to be a man in demand – and the Cherries have allegedly lined up a potential replacement.
The Sun claim that Bournemouth are keen to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson, in a deal which would either cost £25million or be a loan move.
The Welshman has impressed on loan at Derby County this season, racking up 18 goals and four assists for the Rams, who have reached the Championship playoff final.
Wilson looks set for a Premier League campaign next season one way or another, and Bournemouth’s interest should spark Liverpool into action with a clever offer for Fraser.
The Sun also note that Liverpool want Fraser, but face competition from title rivals Manchester City, with a major battle going on for the Scotland international after his seven-goal, 14-assist campaign.
With Wilson wanted at Bournemouth, it’s the perfect chance for Jurgen Klopp to offer the 22-year-old in a deal for Fraser, either permanently or as a loan to cushion the blow of Fraser’s exit.
So many clubs want Fraser, meaning Liverpool will need to take every possible advantage in their pursuit, and offering up Wilson may just be a trump card over other clubs in the hunt.
Fraser’s energy and end product would be a welcome addition to Liverpool’s rotation in the final third, and whilst giving up Wilson permanently would hurt, it may well be worth it to beat City to Fraser’s signature.
