Reece Oxford spent the second half of the season on loan at Augsburg from West Ham United.

Oxford, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, spent the second half of the 2018-19 season on loan at Augsburg in the Bundesliga.
It has been reported by Football.London that the England Under-20 international is close to agreeing personal terms on a permanent move to the German club.
The report has also claimed that Augsburg are willing to pay Oxford’s release clause of £3.4 million.

Leaving West Ham United
Oxford has been on the books of West Ham since 2011, but the youngster has failed to establish himself as a regular in the London club’s first team.
It will make sense for the English youngster to leave the London Stadium on a permanent basis and join Augsburg if they want him.
According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old - who earns £20,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com - made six starts and two substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Augsburg in the second half of the season, providing one assist in the process.
