Sony Santa Monica’s God Of War was the fastest-selling Sony IP before Marvel’s Spider-Man, and the soft reboot has now joined The Last Of Us Part 2’s Remastered predecessor and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as one of the PlayStation 4’s best-selling games.
The reveal was made at Sony’s 2019 corporate strategy meeting where the company showcased the super-fast loading times of the PlayStation 5, while also confirming that The Last Of Us Part 2, Death Stranding, and Ghost Of Tsushima will be coming to PS4.

God Of War surpasses ten-million sales with The Last Of Us and Uncharted 4
God Of War has been a massive powerhouse for Sony, and it’s not surprising that it has joined the exclusive ten-million sales club.
At Sony’s presentation, it was confirmed that Sony Santa Monica’s soft reboot has sold over ten million units, joining The Last Of Us Remastered and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as one of the PlayStation 4’s best-selling exclusives (let alone best received).
This is an incredible achievement on Sony’s part, and it’s likely that a fourth will join the club in the near future thanks to Marvel’s Spider-Man having sold over nine million copies.
In other gaming news, From Software and George R.R. Martin’s rumoured collaboration could be made official at E3 2019, and CD Projekt RED could announce their next game after Cyberpunk 2077 at the gaming industry’s biggest event of the year.
