Michael Keane played for Leicester City in 2012/13 and he could potentially return if Harry Maguire joins Premier League champions Manchester City.

Leicester City have a ‘long-term’ interest in Everton defender Michael Keane, according to the Leicester Mercury, with the Foxes facing a challenge hanging onto star centre-back Harry Maguire.
After another fabulous season at the heart of Leicester’s backline, England international Maguire is a man in demand.
According to the Mail, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made him their top target as they look to replace influential captain Vincent Kompany. Maguire could command a world-record fee, exceeding the £75 million Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk in January 2018.
But who will Leicester turn to if Maguire does bid farewell? Well, the Mercury suggests that Keane, another England centre-back, will be high on their wishlist.
Everton paid £30 million to sign Keane from Burnley in 2017 (BBC) and, after an error-strewn debut season, he has looked far more assured at the heart of The Toffees’ backline once Marco Silva took over at Goodison Park.

Leicester know the former Manchester United youngster well too. Keane played 27 games during a loan spell with The Foxes during the 2012/13 season.
And if Brendan Rodgers’ side do decide to cash in on Maguire, they will have plenty of funds to play with should they turn to Keane.
