Celtic are reportedly interested in Bournemouth forward Lys Mousset.

According to The Daily Mail, Celtic are interested in signing Mousset from Premier League club Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Cherries value the 23-year-old French forward at £10 million.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has given his take on the speculation, and he believes that Mousset will be a good signing for the Hoops.
Sutton said on BT Sport about Mousset: “Similar type to (Moussa) Dembele. He is a physical-type player, a real handful, hasn’t had enough game time at Bournemouth.
“There’s no shame in that in terms of Callum Wilson and Josh King. I am not so sure Eddie Howe has the faith in him to start him, so I think that would be a decent piece of business for Celtic.”

Stats
Mousset joined Bournemouth from Le Havre in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £6 million.
The 23-year-old striker has been struggling to make an impact at the Cherries and is far below in the pecking order.
According to WhoScored, the Frenchman made just one start and 23 substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring one goal in the process.
During the 2017-18 campaign, the striker made four starts and 19 substitute appearances in the league for Bournemouth, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored
Meanwhile, Sutton has revealed that Celtic did offer the managerial job to former Manchester United and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.
Sutton said on BT Sport about Celtic and Mourinho: “Mourinho was heavily linked. I’m led to believe there was something in that, in terms of there being an offer.
“Why would he take the Celtic job? I just don’t get it. I don’t know the exact terms, but there was an offer.”
