The Liverpool ace had high words of praise for the club's fans.
Liverpool stopper Alisson Becker spoke to reporters about the famous Anfield atmosphere, highlighting how important the club's fans have been in their run to the Champions League final this season, as quoted by the club's official website.
The Brazilian joined the Reds from AS Roma last summer, for a fee believed to be worth £66.8m according to BBC Sport, and he has already established himself as a real fan favourite at Anfield.
Alisson has made such a huge difference to Liverpool defensively, and his record of conceding just 34 goals in 50 appearances in all competitions, along with 26 clean sheets, is evidence of his importance to Jurgen Klopp's side.
The 26-year-old spoke to reporters about Liverpool's wonderful campaign thus far, and took time to praise the Reds fans for the atmosphere they create at Anfield, as quoted by the club's official website:
"I played here against Liverpool and I experienced the power that the fans gave to the team on the pitch. They put a lot of pressure on you, it’s not easy playing here against our team. Now that I’m playing here I’ve experienced the amazing things that we have achieved in this Champions League, qualifying for the final in the way that we did, returning from a difficult defeat that many thought was impossible."
Liverpool were incredibly unlucky to miss out on the Premier League title having finished the season with 97 points, although their campaign if far from over, with a Champions League final against Tottenham to come on June 1st.
If they are to achieve glory in Europe, however, they will have to do it without their famous Anfield roar, with the final being held at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
