Southampton reportedly want to bring Mali winger Moussa Djenepo to the Premier League after his stellar season in Belgium.

Michel Preud’homme has admitted that his Standard Liege side will struggle to hang onto star man Moussa Djenepo this summer in the face of interest from Southampton, while speaking to DH.
The Mali international has been playing his football in Belgium since 2017 and he has exploded on to the scene in the last few months with some superb displays for one of the Jupiler League’s biggest clubs.
Djenepo scored 11 goals in all competitions across 2018/19, producing another six assists, to attract interest from the Premier League.
Le Soir reported a fortnight ago that a Southampton team who are crying out for some added cutting edge in attack have made a £20 million bid as they try to lure Djenepo to St Mary’s.
And Preud’homme, who was named Europe’s Goalkeeper of the Year in 1994, has admitted that it is very unlikely that the 20-year-old wideman will be playing his football at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne next season.
“When you see that a team like Southampton can make a bid of £20 million for a player like Djenepo, it’s hard to refuse,” Preud’homme said.

Ralph Hasenhuttl replaced Mark Hughes at Southampton in December and lead them away from the relegation zone but the former RB Leipzig boss will be desperate to bring in some new additions.
His Leipzig side were renowned for their direct, attacking style and bringing in players like Djenepo could help Hasenhuttl replicate that success on the English South Coast.
