Another rumour that CD Projekt RED will reveal the Cyberpunk 2077 release date at E3 2019.

E3 2019 is nearly upon us, and there’s a bevy of speculation about what will be shown and what surprising announcements will be made. Sony confirmed a while back that they won’t be at the event, but there’s still lots to be excited about such as a potential Cyberpunk 2077 release date.

In addition to the confirmed appearances of Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2 and Final Fantasy 7 will both be present at the gaming industry’s biggest event of the year.

Microsoft is also said to be unveiling their next-gen Xbox console, Capcom could reveal Resident Evil 3 Remake or Dino Crisis, and Ubisoft will maybe announce Watch Dogs 3.

Will CD Projekt RED reveal Cyberpunk 2077 release date at E3 2019?

NeoGAF is home to a lot of speculation and rumours, and the latest claims to reveal Microsoft’s entire E3 2019 press conference.

Braldyr, a supposed gaming insider, says that Microsoft will definitely showcase Halo Infinite, Gears Of War 5, a Fable Reboot, and a cross-gen sci-fi exclusive from Ninja Theory.

The leaker also states that Microsoft will reveal the specs of their next-gen Xbox, and show more Sea Of Thieves content.

None of this sounds ridiculous, and the likelihood of Cyberpunk 2077 being a part of Microsoft’s press conference is high.

However, with Cyberpunk 2077 already being confirmed as a part of CD Projekt RED’s “most important” E3 yet, the supposed inclusion of a release date is exciting.

A Creative Agency involved with Cyberpunk 2077 did state that a 2019 release date announcement would be made at E3, and the rumours of a launch this Fall have been amplified by CD Projekt RED seeking a release manager.

But, although a release date announcement would make E3, Braldyr’s leak is nothing more than a rumour rather than anything gospel. So, what I’m saying is don’t bank on CD Projekt RED announcing a release date as – like they’ve said – it’ll be out when it’s ready.

In other Cyberpunk 2077 news, the gameplay is said to be “next level” compared to The Witcher 3, and it won’t be an Epic Games store exclusive.
