According to Portuguese newspaper Record, Tottenham Hotspur have already made approaches to Benfica winger Jota about a summer move to North London.
Spurs have reached the Champions League football, but having pulled off an absolute miracle, Mauricio Pochettino needs new signings this summer.
It's almost 18 months since Spurs last signed a player, and Pochettino will no doubt have a host of players in mind for what should be a big transfer window.
More attacking firepower may be on his wish list, and Record report that Spurs have already approached Benfica winger Jota about joining the club this summer.
It's added that Spurs are now considering making a bid, which may just suggest that they've received enough encouragement in those approaches to make a concrete move.
It's likely to have been an approach to Jota's agent in order to get around tapping up rules, but Spurs will have all the details on the winger's future plans.
Jota, 20, is yet another top young talent coming through at Benfica, alongside Ferro, Ruben Dias, Florentino Luis and Joao Felix, and he celebrated winning the Liga NOS title just yesterday.
The winger has spent most of the season with Benfica's B team though, notching eight goals and eight assists in 20 games in Portugal's second tier, and he could be a hugely exciting talent for the future.
