Leeds United reportedly wanted to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Ivan Cavaleiro in the January transfer window.

Leeds United fans on Twitter have urged the club to sign Ivan Cavaleiro amid speculation that Wolverhampton Wanderers are open to selling the the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window.

According to The Birmingham Mail, Wolves will listen to offers for Cavaleiro, who can operate as a winger or as a forward.

It has been reported that the Wanderers will want north of £12 million for the Portugal international.

The 25-year-old - joined Wolves from AS Monaco in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Express & Star to be worth £7 million - made six starts and 17 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

 

Leeds were reportedly interested in bringing the attacker from Wolves to Elland Road in the January transfer window.

Back in January 2019, The Sun claimed that the West Yorkshire outfit were trying to land the attacker on loan for the second half of the season.

Leeds fans on Twitter have urged club chairman Andrea Radrizzani to make a move for Cavaleiro this summer.
