Leeds United have released one of their teenagers, who has recently been snapped up by Hull City.
Lucas Odunston has left Leeds United to join Hull City.
The 18-year-old spent 12 years on Leeds' books, but the club's official website confirmed on Saturday that he was not given a contract extension.
Instead, the teenage right-back, who had a trial with Hull last month, has officially signed professional terms with the Tigers.
Here is how Hull fans reacted to the swoop:
Leeds born and raised and proud of it, but my boy's a Tiger now, come on City!!— Patrick Odunston (@patch1955) May 17, 2019

As a right-back, Odunston, who hadn't made a first-team debut, was going to find it ever so hard to break through with the Whites' senior side.
At the moment, Leeds have right-back options in the form of Luke Ayling, Jamie Shackleton, Gaetano Berardi and Stuart Dallas, while Lewie Coyle is set to return from a loan spell this summer.
Plus, Ayling is only 27 and has been one of the United's most consistent players in recent years. He's going nowhere for now and it looks like the decision to release him could work out for all parties.
