Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly winning the race to sign the Lyon star.

Le 10 Sport have exclusively reported that Tottenham Hotspur are in pole position to sign Lyon powerhouse Tanguy Ndombele.

L’Equipe reported on Friday that Tottenham had made a bid for the 22-year-old French midfielder, who is also being tracked by Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

But according to Le 10 Sport, Spurs are leading PSG and Juve in the race to sign the Lyon rock who is valued at £87 million [L’Equipe].

The report adds that Ndombele has the power to decide which club he wants to join.

Could it be the North Londoners? It seems very possible.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is one of the best man-managers in Europe and Ndombele will know that he’ll develop in a big way under the Argentine.

Does he know the same about moving to Paris or Turin? Not really. Juventus don’t have a manager following Massimiliano Allegri’s exit, while Thomas Tuchel is under pressure at Parc de Princes.

For the sake of stability, Spurs might be his best bet, but time will tell where he winds up.
