West Ham United fans are not happy about Andy Carroll possibly being given a new contract.

The Sun have suggested that West Ham are considering handing Carroll an extension to his current deal, which was due to expire in the summer.

It was widely expected that Carroll’s time at the London Stadium was coming to an end.

And most Hammers fans had been keen to see the back of Carroll, who has suffered badly with injury ever since signing for the London club.

However, it seems that the target-man could be offered a chance to stay by Manuel Pellegrini.

And West Ham supporters are really hoping that the rumours are not true.

When fit Carroll can be an asset to West Ham, but he has really struggled to stay off the treatment table in recent seasons.

If Carroll does stick with West Ham he could face fierce competition for a place up-front, with Pellegrini thought to be wanting to add a striker this summer.
