[Rumour] Square Enix will have a playable Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo at E3 2019

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Aerith

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be a part of Square Enix's E3 2019 presentation, but will there also be a playable demo for fans to enjoy?

Square Enix brought their Final Fantasy 7 Remake back from the dead at Sony’s second State Of Play episode, and there might be a playable demo at E3 2019.

Although there has been some nontroversy about Barret supposedly being “whitewashed” and Aerith not looking right, the retelling has unquestionably made the Final Fantasy community giddy.

The fanbase will get to see more of the remake at this year’s E3, and they might also get to enjoy a playable demo.

Will the Final Fantasy 7 Remake have a playable demo at E3 2019?

Speaking on the Axe Of The Blood God podcast (via Reddit), US Gamer’s Editor in Chief, Kat Bailey, discussed Final Fantasy 7’s trailer and said “someone he knows” has played a demo.

You can listen to the podcast by clicking here, and the mention happens at 37:35.

Square Enix is hosting their own presentation at this year’s E3, and the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be part of the exhibition.

It’s possible there might be a playable demo for gaming journalists to get their hands on during E3 Judge Week, but - hopefully - there'll also be something for the fans.

None of this is concrete and it should all be treated as a rumour.
