Leeds United fans are urging Kemar Roofe to stay on at Elland Road, after his latest Twitter message.

Roofe expressed his disappointment at Leeds missing out on promotion on social media yesterday.

And the £3 million forward (BBC Sport) was then inundated with messages urging him to sign a new contract at Leeds.

Roofe has just one year remaining on his deal at Elland Road, so Leeds need him to pen new terms or they risk losing him on a free.

If Roofe does leave Leeds this summer it would be a major blow to Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Roofe was Leeds' top goalscorer over the past campaign, despite missing chunks of it with injury.

The former West Brom and Oxford United man had to sit on the sidelines and watch as his teammates were beaten by Derby County on Wednesday.

Roofe was sidelined through injury, and Leeds missed him as they lost 4-2 to the Rams at Elland Road in the play off semi-final.
