Some Celtic fans want Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa to join them

Some Celtic fans are urging their side to appoint the Leeds United manager, Marcelo Bielsa.

Celtic remain on the lookout for Brendan Rodgers' permanent successor, while Bielsa's future has yet to be decided after Leeds' elimination from the Championship play-offs on Wednesday.



According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Argentine's one-year contract includes an option for the Whites to extend it by a further 12 months.

But the newspaper adds that a gentleman's agreement is also in place allowing Bielsa to walk away from Leeds should he desire.

Bielsa managed clubs in Argentina, Spain, France and Italy - as well as the Argentine and Chilean nations teams - before joining Leeds last summer.

And the 63-year-old has proved popular in Yorkshire, making only minor tweaks to a side that finished 13th in last season's Championship.
