According to a report form the Daily Mail, Wolves are looking to sign £16.5m rated Salomon Rondon from West Bromwich Albion this summer, and the Venezuelan would be a really smart addition for the Black Country outfit.

The 29-year-old has spent this season on loan with Newcastle United and he has really impressed, racking up 12 goals and seven assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.

Rondon is a big, strong centre-forward, and he would be the perfect strike partner for Raul Jimenez at Wolves.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side enjoyed a fabulous campaign this season, but the Portuguese will need to strengthen his ranks once again this summer, if they are to kick on next term.

The West Brom owned hitman would offer Wolves an entirely different option through the middle, and he would provide Nuno with the opportunity to play with more variation in the final third.

Depending on how Wolves setup, Rondon could play as part of a two up front with Jimenez, with Diogo Jota slotted in just behind them, or he could operate as a lone striker if need be.

In today's day and age, £16.5 million for a player with Rondon's quality would have to be considered as excellent value for money, and Nuno must do everything within his power to bring the 72-capped Venezuela international to Wolves this summer.
