Leeds crashed out of the play offs last night, and a damaging period of 20 minutes either side of half-time showed all their flaws.
The Whites looked to be in a commanding position when Stuart Dallas fired them into a 2-0 aggregate lead at Elland Road.
However, when Jack Marriott scored for Derby on the stroke of half-time, it seemed to spark a collapse in Leeds.
Bielsa’s men went on to concede a further two goals just after the break, as Derby turned things around, before Leeds began to find their feet again.
And Bielsa admitted he couldn’t find a solution to his side’s problem.
”The gentleman said something that I won’t forget about this game,” he said.
“Adam said the team had 20 minutes of loss of control. And I saw something else as well and I couldn’t find a solution.
“My job is to find solutions to problems, especially when they are circumstantial or structural. I was answering to the gentleman and saying the game is not just segments, you have to take it as a whole. And you take into account the emotional situation of people, the goals of our job, they don’t care about the explanations.”
Leeds ended up losing 4-2 on the night, as their promotion dreams were ended for another year.
Derby will now go on to face Aston Villa in the play off final at Wembley in two weekends’ time.
