Premier League runners-up Liverpool are reportedly planning to 'blitz' Juventus as they attempt to lure Serie A champion Paulo Dybala to Anfield.

Paulo Dybala of Juventus looks dejected during the Serie A match between Roma and Juventus at Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italy on 12 May 2019.

Paulo Dybala wants to leave Juventus this summer, his agent and brother has told Futbolemico, with Liverpool one of the clubs to be linked with a move for the Argentinian superstar.

Despite accumulating 97 points in the Premier League and reaching the Champions League final, Jurgen Klopp’s side appear determined to add some depth to their already star-studded frontline in the off season.

And Dybala is one player who has been frequently mentioned as a potential marquee addition. Tuttomercatoweb stated in March that Liverpool have a ‘serious’ interest in the former Palermo wonderkid and are preparing a summer ‘blitz’ to lure him away from Turin.

And a deal might not be as difficult as it first appeared.

Goal reported in April that Juventus are ready to listen to offers for Dybala, who they signed in 2015 for £23 million. A player who looked set to become one of the world’s best in black and white has seen his form dip alarmingly in the last 12 months with just 10 goals to his name in the 2018/19 campaign.

Paulo Dybala of Argentina warm up during the international friendly match between Argentina and Venezuela at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano on March 22, 2019 in Madrid, Spain.

And Dybala’s agent and brother, Gustavo, has now dropped a bombshell by confirming that ‘La Joya’ intends to start next season with a new club.

“There are many possibilities that Paulo leaves Turin. He needs a change, he was very much at ease in Italy but now he is no longer,” Gustavo Dybala said.

"Let's say that Paulo is no longer at ease and happy. He is not the only one who will leave. Problem with Ronaldo? No, off the field there is no problem with Cristiano. The problems are on the field: Paulo is young, he has to play."

Calciomercato adds that Dybala has already held talks with Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich but don’t rule out Liverpool.
