According to David Ornstein on BBC Radio Five Live, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is now open to selling Eric Dier this summer.

Tottenham were already planning a clear out this summer, with the London Evening Standard suggesting that 12 players could be on their way out at White Hart Lane.

And Pochettino is now said to have added Dier to the list of possible players who could leave Spurs.

Dier has struggled this season, with injury really curtailing his progress.

The £70,000-a-week (Spotrac) England international has looked off the pace, and it seems that Tottenham could be open to offers.

Spurs are also still thinking of selling Victor Wanyama, despite his resurgence of late.

Wanyama has featured regularly for Pochettino’s men in recent weeks, but he has not done enough to convince Tottenham that he is a starter over the long-term.

If Tottenham do sell both Wanyama and Dier they are said to be willing to bring in two new central midfielders.
