The Atletico Madrid forward would be an exceptional addition for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp manager

Liverpool have been quite simply outstanding this season, but regardless of whether they end up lifting the Champions League trophy or not, Jurgen Klopp will surely be keen to bolster his ranks further still at Anfield this summer.

One particular area where the Reds should be looking to strengthen is their forward department, with Daniel Sturridge set for the exit door, and more competition required for Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

And with this in mind, Liverpool must challenge Barcelona for Atletico Madrid ace Antoine Griezmann.

According to a report from Sky Sports, the World Cup winning France international has a £108 million release clause inserted into his current contract, and Liverpool would easily be able to afford that.

The 28-year-old was in fine form for Atleti this season, racking up an impressive 21 goals and 10 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.

Griezmann can play anywhere along the front-line, and possesses exceptional technical ability. He would be able to play as part of a front four, with Firmino slotted in just behind him, or he could play on either wing, giving Salah or Mane the chance to play more centrally.

Whilst £108 million sounds like a lot of money, Griezmann is one of the world's very best players, and the Frenchman would absolutely light up Anfield.

Liverpool will have to improve this summer of they want to pip Manchester City to the Premier League title next term, and signing the Atleti ace would be the ideal place to start for Jurgen Klopp.
