Liverpool fans react to Manchester City boss’ LMA triumph.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is toasting another victory, this time the LMA Manager of the Year Award.

Guardiola beat out strong competition from Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino and Wolves’ Nuno Santo, The Premier League’s official website announced.

Guardiola’s City clinched a second successive Premier League trophy at the weekend, winning the league with 98 points.

Klopp’s Liverpool finished with 97.

However unlike City, Liverpool’s season is not yet over.

The Reds still have the Champions League final to play, when they come up against City’s conquerors Tottenham.

Would Klopp winning the Champions League title combined with the Reds’ points tally supercede Guardiola’s achievements?

Given the rapid improvement Liverpool have made this season, some fans felt Klopp missing out on the award was the wrong decision.

Here is a look at some of the reaction on Twitter…
