John Aldridge shared how every Liverpool fan who he has spoken to has told him how proud they are of Jurgen Klopp's team this season, when writing his regular column for the Liverpool Echo.
The Reds were quite simply brilliant in the Premier League this season, and unfortunately missed out on winning the title by just one point, after Manchester City finished with 14 consecutive wins.
Liverpool's season is far from over, however, with a Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid to look forward to on June 1st.
Klopp spent heavily last summer, and it proved to be shrewd business from the German, despite the fact that his team fell just short in the race for the title.
And Aldridge shared just how proud the Liverpool fans are of their team's efforts this season, when writing his regular column for the Liverpool Echo:
"Every Liverpool supporter I've spoken to is so proud of this team and the manager and you've just got to try and take it on the chin."
Klopp will surely be looking to strengthen his Liverpool side further still this summer, regardless of whether they win the Champions League or not, in the hope that he can guide them to their first league title win since 1990 next season.
