Tottenham Hotspur are on the brink of making history.
Tottenham take on Liverpool in the Champions League final on June 1st, and both sides will be equally confident of leaving Madrid with Europe's premier trophy.
The Reds have won the European Cup six times, whilst Spurs are still yet to taste glory on Europe's biggest stage.
And Tottenham legend Graham Roberts believes that he has spotted somewhat of a coincidence in the date that the game is being played:
In 1961 spurs did the double On 1/6/19 we play champions league is this a coincidence when you flip the date . COYS— Graham Roberts (@GrahamRoberts4) 13 May 2019
Mauricio Pochettino's side will of course have to be on their very best form, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of turning over Liverpool.
The Merseyside outfit go into the game as slight favourites, but on their day, Tottenham can beat anyone.
One thing that is certainly in Spurs' favour is the fact that they should have nearly a full compliment of players to choose from come the final on June 1st.
But whether the coincidental date spotted by Roberts eventually turns out to be a good luck charm for Tottenham remains to be seen.
