Arsenal legend Tony Adams was a guest on BT Sport’s Score programme on Sunday, and responded when asked whether Liverpool will beat Tottenham in the Champions League final on June 1st.

The Reds and Spurs both produced miraculous comebacks in their respective semi-final ties last week.

Liverpool overturned a 3-0 deficit from the first-leg against Barcelona, winning 4-0 at Anfield, whilst Tottenham came back from 2-0 down at half-time against Ajax to win the game 3-2 after a stunning second-half hat-trick from Lucas Moura.

Tottenham winning the Champions League would be Arsenal fans' worst nightmare, and Adams went along with that notion when asked whether Liverpool will beat the north Londoners in the final next month, when speaking during a guest appearance on BT Sport’s Score programme on Sunday:

"I hope so."

Liverpool will go into the game as slight favourites, but Tottenham will fancy their chances too, and anything could happen in a one-off game.

Like Adams, however, all Arsenal fans will be praying that Klopp's men can overcome Spurs, because if they don't, the Gunners faithful will never hear the end of it.
